Yes. As a Class A licensed general contractor in Virginia, Keraman Construction handles all permit applications, submittals, and inspections from start to certificate of occupancy. You won't need to coordinate with Prince William County or other jurisdictions yourself — we manage the entire permitting process on your behalf.
A typical room addition in Northern Virginia takes 8–14 weeks from permit approval to completion. Simple additions (a single room, no structural changes) are on the shorter end. Larger additions with second-story work, full MEP rough-ins, and finish carpentry typically take 12–16 weeks. Design and permitting before construction begins adds 4–8 weeks depending on the jurisdiction.
We coordinate closely with licensed architects and engineers to provide a design-build experience. For straightforward additions and renovations, we work with our network of local design professionals to produce permit-ready drawings. For complex projects requiring architectural stamps, we bring in the appropriate licensed professionals and manage the full process.
Virginia DPOR issues three contractor license classes. Class B is limited to projects under $120,000 per contract, and Class C to projects under $10,000. A Class A license requires documented experience, financial solvency, and passing a trade examination.
